Kendall Ashman

As a young child, I was fascinated with creating stories, music videos, fake broadcasts, and humorous home movies on my parent's outdated, dilapidated video-camera. I was intrigued by the idea that a camera can shoot a memory into the future. Of course, I was always the main actress, producer, director, biggest critic, not to mention, I wrote the best reviews. With a passion for creating videos, performing, as well as writing and plotting out scripts, I joined local theatres and took private piano, acting, and vocal lessons. Continuing with my admiration for expressing myself and my talents, I joined Television Production Workshop and yearbook to further my love for creating a quality piece of work. I have found that "story-telling," whether it is a yearbook story, a story for my high school's daily live news show, or a home video, is my ultimate calling. I have found that it is not the story itself that is spoken, it is how the story is told.
